BTU Metals has been aggressively building its property position in Red Lake since it first acquired land in the area in August 2018. The Dixie Halo project now covers a total of 19,723 hectares of highly prospective ground with potential for many more new discoveries, 200 km2 of which is contiguous to Great Bear Resources (TSX-V: GBR).

Project Highlights

19,723 hectares of highly prospective land in Red Lake, among the richest gold mining camps in the world

Land package contiguous with Great Bear Resource's flagship Dixie project and its outstanding discoveries that appear to follow a trend that cross the BTU property

Discovery of the TNT Target with significant intercepts of mineralization including an assay highlight of 44.3 m of 1.14% CuEq with intervals containing as much as 5.56% Cu, 99.6 g/t Ag, and 2 g/t Au

New geological and geophysical data indicates the potential for polymetallic, gold-enriched volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization

Multiple surface indications of gold mineralization across BTU's SW-NE regional structure including till samples with as many as 120 gold grains (99 pristine)

Geophysical work, including airborne mag and ground IP, has identified many favourable structures that warrant further investigation at the Dixie Creek Target

TNT Target

BTU has begun the next phase of drilling operations at its TNT target area. Since the discovery of 44.1-metres of precious-metal enriched chalcopyrite-pyrite mineralization in Drill Hole 13 last fall, the Company has pursued a strategic path to modelling the size and grade potential of this geological system. Ensuing down-hole and ground geophysical surveys have revealed the presence of large conductive areas that are prime targets in the search for bodies of potentially very valuable mineral deposits.

Dixie Creek Target

The Dixie Creek target is bordered by GBR’s Dixie project to the north and east and is on trend with their "LP Trend" discoveries. The target has high-grade gold potential indicated through multiple lines of evidence including similar rock types to those reported by Great Bear to be the hosts of, and adjacent to, their discoveries. Geophysical work, including airborne mag and ground IP, have identified many favourable structures that warrant further investigation.

Dixie Creek Target

The Dixie Creek target is bordered by GBR’s Dixie project to the north and east and is on trend with their "LP Trend" discoveries. The target has high-grade gold potential indicated through multiple lines of evidence including similar rock types to those reported by Great Bear to be the hosts of, and adjacent to, their discoveries.
